K-POPS Korean Street Food was conceptualized by CHEF R US – the brainchild of three individuals like Michael Cheng, Ruel Quierrez and Lloyd Dolor who have a common passion for food.

Michael Cheng, who graduated with honors at the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA) Manila, was granted the privilege to study Global Korean Culinary Arts for a year at Woosong University, Daejeon, South Korea in 2012. He worked as a Chef Consultant for various restaurant establishments. Aside from his restaurant experience, Michael has won numerous awards from several international culinary competitions, including Global Taste of Korea 2015 where he won 3rd place for his Haemul Bibimbap dish and Hong Kong Food Expo 2013 (HOFEX) where he won 1st place for his Modern Chinese Lamb dish, to name a few.

A foodie at heart, Lloyd Dolor is also a graduate of CCA and has worked for various hotel and restaurant establishments. He is also a businessman in the automotive and trade industry.

Ruel Quierrez, Ruel or RQ is an established businessman who has numerous business in the Philippines and abroad. His business consist of real estate development, personal protective equipments, automotive, health and beauty and so much more. His passion for travel and food brings him to complete the trio of this company.

Chef R Us aims to offer affordable international street foods/specialty snacks by operating kiosks and carts in areas such as shopping malls, schools, and other business establishments. The company also aims to enter into franchising contracts with prospective individuals who wish to start a new business.
