How much is the total investment for the franchise?

The total investment estimated for this franchise ranges from P5,000,000 to P10,000,000 (inclusive of franchise fee of P1,000,000). The cost depends on the size and the type of entertainment in the branch (the smaller the branch, the cheaper it will cost). The franchise fee covers the cost of providing you with the system, business opening assistance, initial training, and other support and franchise development services. In addition to franchise fee, the total investment figure includes the cost of working capital as well as construction cost and other expenses.

How much is the fee for continuing support services?

The continuing services, or “royalty” fee, will be 5% of the gross sales derived from the franchised business. It is paid monthly. You will also spend between 1% to 2 % of your gross sales each month on local advertising and other promotions, which may include advertising on newspaper, direct mail advertising or promotional efforts through ther media. An advertising fund has been established to which you will be required to contribute an amount equal to 1.5% of your Gross Sales.

How much training is provided for in the PADI’S PHILIPPINES CORPORATION’s system of operation?

After you sign a franchise agreement, you will attend training for about two business days regarding corporate history, site selection, negotiations, and preparations. Before you open for business, you and your manager will participate in an initial training course of approximately four weeks at a location we specify. This course provides classroom as well as on-the- job training in all aspects of the business including inventory control, customer service, economics, advertising, public relations, operating procedures and personnel issues. Additionally, before and after the opening of your restaurant, one of our company’s representatives will help you with the start up operation of your business.

What form of continuing guidance will I receive?

You will receive periodic visits from your franchise representative who will provide guidance and quality control, and answer any questions you may have. Our company may periodically provide refresher training programs. You will receive a copy of the Confidential Operations Manual, which covers the policies and procedures involved in running your business. This manual will be continuously updated and revised if necessary throughout the operation of your franchise.

Will I have an exclusive territory?

You will not receive an exclusive territory. However, Padi’s Philippines Corporation will see to it that each site will service the optimal population to make the business viable.
