bakersfair_bakeshopBakers’ Fair started as a small bakery in downtown Manila in 1965.  With only a handful of skilled and dedicated people, they were able to bring to life the spirit of good, fresh Filipino baking.  Their first products, Pan de Sal and Pullman Bread, were instant favorites among first-time customers.

The one outlet at the corner of Avenida and Recto soon grew into a chain of outlets around Quiapo, Binondo and Sta. Cruz.  Earning the taste and favor of more and more downtown residents, the delight of Bakers’ Fair’s fresh baked goods became a must-have among hotels soon joined the roster commuters and vacationers on the road.  Schools, restaurants and of institutions enjoying Bakers’ Fair products and serving them as part of product line.

In 1982, Bakers’ Fair moved to a bigger location in Sta. Cruz, Manila.  Staffed with well trained workers, and lined with the most modern bakery machineries from all over the world, their new factory was dedicated to the production of the most number of world-class bakery products.  From Chinese pastries like hopia and moon cakes; and European delights like French bread and croissants; to muffins, birthday and wedding cakes; to all shapes and sizes of cookies and confectioneries; their shops are stacked with a fresh and hearty assortment of baked goods.

After the first year expansion, they made it a point to reach more people in, around and outside the city. They set up bakery outlets at the busiest locations in and around Metro Manila. Focused on being at the heart of population centers and shopping malls, their branches were soon seen popping up beside wet markets, beside commuter stations, beside and across movie houses, between fast food chains, and inside some of the most crowded shopping malls.
