tadakuma_ramenteiTadakuma Japanese Restaurant was first started in Manila with the name RAMEN TEI by Manuel Joaquin, a naturalized Filipino of Japanese descent.  Manuel was born in Japan to Japanese parents and moved to the Philippines at the age of 14.  His specialty is making noodles.  When he sold the business, he moved to Davao and opened a small restaurant downtown which was named Tadakuma Japanese Restaurant.

Tadakuma serves excellent sushi and sashimi.   In addition to their specialty – the ramen noodles which are serve in huge portions.  Their ingredients are top-notch and the preparation is decidedly authentic.  And the menu prices are surprisingly very reasonable.
