Crazy TakoCrazy Tako was started in 2017 by Reniel Paolo Fernandez and Mark Andrew Agulto, both a degree holder in Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management of De La Salle College of St. Benilde. Although they end up as Flight Attendants, their enthusiasm for high quality food doesn’t stop there. This open the way for greater opportunities and discover a variety of cuisine across the globe. The accessibility to travel around the world and passion to deliver quality good food gives birth to an idea of catering an imported street food made available to the Filipino people thus, Crazy Tako was born.

From the busy streets of Japan, left and right you’ll see different street foods, but Takoyaki is distinct among others. It is made with patience and perseverance. Nonetheless, every ball is shaped passionately. The first batch of ingredients was bought in Osaka from a flight layover plus numerous hours spent over Youtube to master the basic Takoyaki making. Until such time the perfect Takoyaki ball was completed. Crazy Tako was launched to the public under a small tent inside a cemetery during All Soul’s day of 2017. Even though they had a very little profit after that, their determination and passion did not stop them to bring authentic Takoyaki in the Philippines.

Another opportunity was opened for Crazy Tako few weeks after their first event. Then, holiday bazaars followed. People started to line up and patiently waited to try their first Crazy Takoyaki. The rest was history! Selling over 80,000 takoyaki balls was sold in 20 days! It was fun and at the same time overwhelming that people kept complimenting and kept coming back for more!

Passion and love on what we are doing makes us incomparable and special from the other takoyaki brands that is out in the market. Crazy Tako team promises to continue develop the service, the food and the brand. Our ambition is to make Crazy Tako more accessible and be known to all Filipinos.
