They proudly create their ice cream using 100% fresh cows milk and cream from Real Fresh Dairy Farms, Inc. – their very own dairy farm in Bay, Laguna.
Carmen’s Best Ice Cream only comes in small tubs because it is homemade and handcrafted, the old-fashioned way. They do not use any prepared mixes, artificial flavorings, colorings, or thickeners, so each batch captures the pure, natural flavor of the ingredients. Every recipe they create is built from the ground up with unprocessed milk from tropical daily cows and raw materials of the best quality from all over the world. The company does not regularly make all flavors. Its distributors are given the privilege to choose from its list of flavors when placing orders. This is another unique practice in Carmen’s Best Ice Cream—it’s only made when it’s ordered.
Carmen’s Best Ice Cream was owned and managed by Francisco ‘Paco’ Magsaysay, a 46-year-old entrepreneur who enjoyed making authentic gourmet ice cream. It started with only four flavors and now with over 40 flavors of the gourmet ice cream to choose from including their newest flavors, the Baklava – the first and only ice cream available locally that brings the richness of the popular Turkish dessert.
