R.J. Valor Foods was first started as a backyard business in 1986 by couple, Mr. Rodolfo Cruz, together with his wife, Linda Cruz.  This was the time the couple decided to go into food processing, introducing the regular hotdog as their primary product. They first learned about the business through reading materials sourced from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and, again through this Government bureau, they were able to attend seminars and training sessions regarding food processing methods and techniques. Equipped with the knowledge he gained about the processing business, Mr. Cruz visited the United States and attended a school in Chicago to learn even more. Later he visited Germany to study sausage and frankfurters. It was through these visits that he learned about the machineries used in the processing business.

This was the start of the company which today has gained unwavering reputation in the Marikina Market and Marikina Institutions for the past 20 years. This is the reason why Rudy and Linda’s Food Products believes that its products are top of the line quality that is very affordable compared to other products and is ready for other bigger markets in the Philippines.
