Kimono Ken

Jul 13th, 2010 | Category: Food Chain and Restaurant, Franchising

kimono-ken-logo Kimono Ken was first established in Blue Wave in Diosdado Macapagal Blvd. on November 17, 2003.  Serving authentic Japanese dishes, Kimono Ken enjoyed a steady following in the area – packing the restaurant especially during lunch and dinner.

This encouraged the restaurant’s owners to follow through with their plans for a second branch along Tomas Morato.  With its Zen-inspired facade, dark mahogany interiors, Japanese artwork, and soft-tone lighting, Kimono Ken stands out from the long array of restaurants and bars that line the busy street, which, coupled with Kimono Ken’s trademark authentic dishes and excellent service, made the resounded enjoy the same success of the first branch.

Over the years, Kimono Ken’s contemporary and fusion menu continued to be a hit. The restaurant opened its third branch in April 2006 at SM the Block and its fourth branch on the 5th level of the Podium in June 2007.

Kimono Ken’s fifth and latest branch is located at the Edsa Shangri-la Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong, which opened in September 2007.

For the past five years, Kimono Ken has been synonymous with unique menu creations and authentic Japanese dishes that have captivated the Filipino palate. The Kimono Ken promise, “Enticingly Japanese. For less”, captures the very essence of the restaurant: serving one-of-a-kind and authentic Japanese treats without burning a hole in its discriminating diners’ pockets.

Whether it’s a power lunch, a pit stop, a family dinner, a casual “barkada night”, or even a first date, Kimono Ken will never disappoint!
