Orange Brutus was first started in 1980 by two young entrepreneurs with a desire to make a statement in the food industry of Cebu, Philippines. These entrepreneurs ventured into the First Hamburger Chain in Cebu with vision to revolutionize the food retail industry in the Visayas.  This was a very bold step since hamburger was a relatively new food offered to the Filipino people at that time.

The first store was opened in Colon, Cebu City and was situated in the newest department store then, Fairmart.  It was a simple, bright, attractive and clean store, vending reasonable priced and good food to its customers.  The main sellers were the charboiled burgers and fresh fruit shakes.

Through the years, more food products were introduced including the best selling sizzling burger steak and chicken brutus that they carry now.

Today, Orange Brutus is known for its healthy and nutritious food.  The company makes sure to always prepare the freshest ingredients.  The burgers are charboiled to ensure that the meal products are low in bad cholesterol and are never pre-cooked.  Only the freshest fruits go into the thirst-quenching fruit shakes and premium quality vegetables for its entree and garnishing.

As of this time, Orange Brutus has 21 outlets all over Cebu.
