Michelle’s Homemade Putong Ube
Michelle’s Homemade Putong Ube was first started by Michelle Reyes 13 years ago in the kitchen of a gym her family owned in Mandaluyong City. In 1996, Michelle tried to put up her first store at the Gilmore Building in Quezon City with only P200,000 capital on hand. It has since grown to 16 outlets.
Michelle’s Homemade Puto (rice cake) varieties includes the all time best-seller Putong Ube, made of real, fresh ube (purple yam). Its authentic and delicate taste will be a sure hit in your Sunday brunches, family get togethers and office parties. Even Malacañang can proudly attest to its superb quality and goodness when Putong Ube was served during the State Dinner for George W. Bush.
Another equally superb variety is the Putong Queso, now very popular with cheese lovers young and old. Each golden piece bursts of real cheese chunks you just can’t wait to sink your teeth into. Great for baon, snacking and pasalubong!
Michelle’s third popular product is the Putong Pandan variety. Don’t know what to serve the in-laws this weekend? Delight them with a box of these heavenly – moist treats and you will be an instant star in family potluck parties!
Another excellent flavor is the Putong Mascobado. It is made using organic and healthy Mascobado sugar freshly made from sugar cane juice. All Natural, no preservatives, no coloring and no artificial flavoring. The distinct flavor and aroma of Mascobado sugar perfectly blended with Michelle’s Homemade Puto recipe will truly satisfy your taste. Match it with coffee or tea!
Their new flavor recently launched is the Sugar Free Puto. Indulge in the same ube goodness without the guilt.
Mothers and balikbayans provide a steady stream of customers for Michelle’s Homemade Putong Ube.
