Tita Fannies Liempo and Chicken Haus was first started with a 100 square-meter area of native materials: bamboo furniture set in coconut wood structure and shaded by a nipa roof on the 18th day of September, 1999.  It’s first branch was at the throbbing center of the Poblacion, in Zamora Street, Iligan City.

The name Tita Fannies was derived from the beloved Aunt of the Onque children - “Tita Fanny”.  It became a household name.  The owners have released a radio advertisement with a jingle that gave the restaurant’s name a perfect recall… “Tita Fannies, Chicken and Liempo Haus…”

Roasted Liempo and Litson Manok (”Roasted Chicken”) are the house specialty of Tita Fannies, the only two products that Tita Fannies serve in the first few days of operation until such time they have incorporated some additional menu.

Tita Fannies liempo has unique taste. Not the typical liempo that other establishments serve. The secret lies in the local herbs and spices embedded in the family recipe.  Its aroma is so captivating that you couldn’t help but be curious of its taste.  The skin is crunchy and the meat is well-cooked and addictively tasty.

As of December 2009, Tita Fannies now has Three (3) branches: Zamora, Aguinaldo, and Cagayan de Oro Branch.

• Offering our House Specialty (Liempo & Lechon Manok) ready for take-out.
• Minimum area requirement is 12-15 sq. meters.
