    Just want to share our experience with Miguelito’s. We were convinced during the SMX franchise expo this year to right away pay the intial deposit of 150,000 for their fried ice cream with their promo of just 300,000 (ALL IN, NO HIDDEN CHARGES). After paying and choosing our prospective location, we waited for a month and with just a week before the opening, we had an orientation and only during that time, we were informed of other more charges to pay (delivery charge, avr charge, trucking) and moreso, their operations manager even told us that we should secure business permit by ourselves not with their help (since they told us that they will assist us in every way). To cut the story short, we decided not to continue the franchise. They told us that they cannot refund the whole 150,000 hence they will deduct 20% (FOR WHAT?????, we didn’t even have a signed contract). they cannot even explain the 20% deduction. Anyway, we just got our check amounting to 120,000 and informed by their accounting personnel that there are heaps of people who are also refunding their deposit. I am now looking for the possible help of a lawyer for us to get the remaining 30,000 pesos.
    But still, if you want to franchise, make sure you ask everything especially with regard to financial.

    not worth it 300k? watch out of their machine? if ever you notice something in three months better see if the technician they send were good, they will repair it but u will see the worst of it after a year. minimal repair but the machine they gave to you was a crap…the premix were good but the quality of the machine wont last, if u hear something weird about the machine like choking when you open the machine maker? make sure u change it to new one instantly, dont make it worst if they say it was a minimal damage but its BROKEN, IT WONT LAST A 2YEARS
