Mary Pauline Salon Express was first established in 2004 when its owners, Mary Pauline Danga and Dra. Mabs Danga, acquired the prime location of Hairbytes Salon at Shangrila Mall in Mandaluyong.

Miss Pauline, as she is fondly called by her staff, thus burst onto the world of hair and beauty care. Not long after, she set up her very own salon under the “Mary Pauline” name and located at the prime City Lifestyle Building in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.  By year’s end of 2004, Mary Pauline Danga had acquired another franchise from Groompad Salon and opened her third outlet at Park Square 2 in Makati.

Throughout 2005, the Salon continued to shore up its formidable roster of stylists and staff and expanding its services to incorporate the latest trends in the market.  Parallel to this development was an expansion plan to penetrate as a locator at the Shoemart (SM) chain of malls.

In May of 2006,  Mary Pauline Salon Express launched its largest branch so far, at the SM Mall of Asia. It coincided with the grand opening of arguably Asia’s second largest mall. With the company’s investment and expansion plan launched, there are now seventeen (17) Mary Pauline Salons nationwide.
