Shanghai Siomai Superb Store was first started as a backyard business known only to close friends and relatives.  The owners started the business by selling frozen meat products like siomai and shark’s fin dumplings to neighbors, friends and relatives.

Over time, buyers have been encouraging the owners to setup a retail store and sell the products on a commercial scale. Encouraged by the increasing demand and market acceptance of their products, they ventured into cold stores and wet markets. Eventually, they opened several outlets along different commercial establishments to be able to serve more customers.   Among their products are Siomai, Shark’s Fin Dumpling and Black Gulaman.
