Corrie’s

corrielogo Corrie’s Kitchen was first started by Mrs. Corazon Angeles or “Tia Coring”.  Tia Coring loved cooking Pancit Malabon for her family and friends and because of her focus on product quality, those who have tasted her concoction would swear that it is the best Pancit Malabon that they ever tasted.  In 1985, Tia Coring finally relented to the prodding of her relatives and friends and began accepting orders for her famous noodle dish.

Initially, Tia Coring operated from her house in Pasig. Her newly married son Lito Angeles and his wife Len helped her in operating the business. She would accept orders for Corrie’s Pancit Malabon from residents in the Pasig area and have Lito and her helpers deliver the same.  As Corrie’s became more and more famous, orders came from other surrounding localities like Mandaluyong, San Juan, Makati and Quezon City.

Corrie’s Pancit Malabon is different and extremely tasty because only the freshest ingredients are used. The noodles are home-made; they flake their own tinapa and crumble their own chicharon. The Pancit Malabon sauce which gives it a distinct flavor is done by Len herself. The great taste of this dish makes their customer crave for more.

In 1994, Corrie’s established its first outlet near the corner of Pioneer Street and Shaw Boulevard. By this time, other products such as: Fresh Lumpiang Ubod, Dinuguan and Kare-Kare were introduced to complement the Pancit Malabon. A new concept “Baon sa Dahon” consisting of rice, egg, tomato, chicken pork adobo and longanisa was also offered at the store and became a resounding success.  Finally, dine-in service was introduced to accommodate the growing market.

In 2000, the name Corrie’s Pancit Malabon was changed to Corrie’s Kitchen to further project a restaurant image with several compliment product lines instead of a single product business.  At this time, Tia Coring transferred the management of the business to her son Lito and his wife, Len who continue to observe Tia Coring’s passion for quality in preparing their food products.

Currently, Corrie’s has four (4) full-restaurant outlets in Pasig, one (1) at the food court of Riverbanks Mall in Marikina and two (2) food stalls in Paranaque (1 at the food court of Puregold, Sucat and another inside Shopwise, Sucat).  All of these outlets are owned and managed by Corrielen Food, Inc.  In January, 2010, Bevanda and Food Company becomes the first franchisee of Corrie’s Pancit with its outlet located at Manila Ocean Park.
