Tsoko.Nut Batirol was first started in December 2004. Tsoko.Nut Batirol concept is a native tsokolate and coffee shop truly for Filipinos. Tsoko.Nut Batirol is known for its special Tsokolate Ah Batirol, Kape Barako, Iced Banana Batirol, Spaghetti Aligue, Suman sa Mangga, Suman sa Latik, Ensaymada with Quezo de Bola, Bibingka with Kesong Puti and Itlog na Pula and Tablea Cake.
From research findings of Filipino eating habits, it has been noted that Filipinos eat rice even for merienda. Tsoko.Nut Batirol, therefore, concocted special rice meals — special in the sense that these are difficult to prepare at home such as Chicken Roll, Bangus Belly with Pangat (Laing), Callos and Relyenong Bangus. These are the servings that would definitely make one feel at home.
In January 2005, the first successful branch opened in SM Makati. The opening of the branches in Dela Rosa Carpark I and RCBC Plaza in Makati marked the first and 3rd quarters of 2007 for Tsoko.Nut. On the other hand, Tsoko.Nut Eastwood Excelsior opened its doors to the public in July 2008.
