Granstar Motors and Industrial Corporation (GMIC) was officially incorporated on November 11, 1997.   The business operation started in the first quarter of 1998.  The first store was opened in Imus, Cavite complete with in-house consumer financing and full motorcycle service shop. The company was then dealing with existing motorcycle brands including Yamaha.

In 1999, they started their own brand of motorcycles assembled from parts that are mainly imported from China.  The products carry the GRANSTAR and LONCIN marks.

Currently, GMIC started marketing other brand of motorcycles assembled from parts that were imported mainly from TVS, India.  Star Sports 100 and Star Business 110 were among the latest motorcycles introduced by the company.

In the Philippine market, they are poised to take a bigger share in the coming years.  Furthermore, there are now arrangements to enter export markets experiencing increasing demand conditions similar to the local market.

GMIC is moving towards this direction, extending their expertise to retail branch operations and leasing. They are also moving at full speed to extend business to new markets and related automotive products.  By sticking to their vision of providing efficient solutions to the transport needs of our markets.  Granstar Motor and Industrial Corporation aspires to be one of the future market leaders.
