Mr. Butch business acumen In the food venture responded, and he soon had a fine dining restaurant. He named the restaurant after his daughter, Tara.  BG Summit Corporation has metamorphosed into one of the country’s most dynamic family business conglomerate today.

June 2007, saw the birth of the first Tara’s Cafe and Restaurant located in Guadalupe, Cebu City. The concept of a coffee shop, bookstore, business meeting venue and restaurant creates a unique sense of Cebu’s line of restaurants.

Such delicious foods and one perfect setting could not be contained in only one place. It’s inevitable that Tara’s Cafe and Restaurant recently opened another branch in IT Park.

With the success it enjoyed, family patriarch Freddie “Butch” Guillen oversees the company’s strategic thrust as President & Chief Executive Officer with Anne Mitus T. Guillen as VP Finance, Bonn Garlo T. Guillen as VP Operation and Marion Tara T. Guillen as VP Marketing.

Tara’s Cafe and Restaurant are now ready to expand throughout the Philippines.
