Aficionado Germany Perfume was manufactured and distributed nationwide by Central Affirmative Co., Inc.   It all started by a man in the person of Mr. Joel Cruz in 1999.   With a couple of hundred pesos, Sir Joel decided to put up perfume business where he seeked the assistance of his friend who is now the Vice President Internal of the company.  The house of Sir Joel’s mother located in Sisa St. Sampaloc Manila became their marketing office.  They have developed the product in best quality and affordable prices and named the product as “AF” or AFFIRMATIVE.  This is were JOEL CRUZ ENTERPRISE was born.

Initially, the product was sold at the first outlet of Ever Gotesco-Grand Central in Caloocan City.  But the demand of the product in the market continues to grow that the garage area can no longer accommodate the production of the product.   The company then rented a small, two-storey apartment along the same street in Sampaloc, Manila.

In year 2001, the company was register as a corporation, now called, CENTRAL AFFIRMATIVE COMPANY, INC.

In September of 2001, the brand name AFICIONADO- Germany Perfume was granted registration and became the trademark brand of the product.  The growth of the company has continuously expanding from Metro Manila, to Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The company ventures again in Franchising business.  The first Franchise outlet opened in Laoag in March 2004.

In July 2005, with the company’s dynamic Research and Development team launched its new product extension, the Aficionado Bath and Body Spray mostly commonly known as Aficionado cologne.

Right now, they have 60 franchise stores out of a total of almost 150 stores nationwide.     i was so disappointed to your staff! (Ever Recto) napaka walang modo! nkikipag talo s customer eh samantalang sila itong may kasalanan. actually this is not a perfume because your store was popular in perfumes right? ang nirireklamo ko po is yung fitting room nila na basa yung floor then nag fit ako ng damit at nahulog sa basang floor nila yung damit na na-fit ko at pilit na pinabili sakin dhil sila naman daw ang lagot. that was not my responsibility! responsibilidad nila yon dahil space nila yon! ang dahilan pa nila nagpatawag naman daw sila janitor kaso nasa loob na ako ng fitting. that was an excuse! dapat hindi muna nila ko pinag fit doon. at may god.. sobra ang kababuyan pati map at iba pa nilang pan-linis nandon sa loob ng fitting room then tinawagan nila yung branch manager at sabi ko kakausapin ko pero hindi nila pinakausap sakin. hope that sir Joel Cruz read this. hindi ko pinost to para siraan yung branch na yun i was doing this para maayos yung branch na yun at hindi na maexperience pa nang ibang customers.
