Jojie’s Bakeshop  was established by the husband and wife tandem of Arnold and Jojie Labunog.  It started as a home-based business in Cortes, Bohol which is 6 kilometers away from Tagbilaran City due to limited capitalization.  Both of them were directly involved in the business operation for they had only two employees.

At first, sales were generated thru peddling of their baked bread to sari-sari stores in neighboring barangays.  Because of stiff competition for bread products, the couple was challenged to develop other products than bread so different local delicacies were developed.  After some modifications, the delicacies soon penetrated stores, bus terminals, groceries, and supermarkets in Tagbilaran City.

In 1993, Jojie’s Bakeshop opened its first store in Tagbilaran City.  Years later more branches were opened and Jojie’s Bakeshop has grown significantly.  As of 2007, it has a commissary, 6 branches within Tagbilaran City and 11 branches in other municipalities of Bohol.

Jojie’s Bakeshop are now accepting franchisee outside Bohol.
