Dish-washing soap are one of the most consumed household thing that are always in-demand and can be marketed easily. This simple procedure will discuss on how to make a liquid dish-washing soap that can earn you a living.

How to Make Liquid Dishwashing Soap

Basic ingredients:

  • Coconut oil
  • Potassium Hydroxide
  • Caustic soda (lye)
  • Water
  • Essential oil
  • Scent and coloring

Equipments:

  • double boiler with inner stainless steel pot
  • 5 gallon bucket with lid
  • blankets or towels for insulation
  • a stick blender a strong, stainless steel blade
  • plastic (nylon) spoon
  • plastic or stainless bowls to weigh lye and oils
  • funnels
  • rubber gloves
  • goggles
  • scale
  • liquid measuring cups

Training and Seminar:
The Golden Treasure Skills Development Program will conduct a one-day seminar on soap-making at the UPAA Alumni Center, Magsaysay Avenue, Ylanan St., University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City, on July 29, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Topics to be discussed include sourcing of materials and costing. There will be hands-on experience on how to make liquid dish-washing soap, liquid hand soap, liquid all-purpose soap, bar detergent soap, herbal bath soap powder soap, car shampoo.

Bonus courses will be on making liquid bleach, fabric softener, and tile and bowl cleaner.
