The Brand officially started its operation under Edsa Agro Industrial Corp., a subsidiary of LAC Enterprises, Inc., the flagship company of Mr. Florante Dela Cruz, founder of Mocha Blends Corp. Its first outlet, located at the Circle C Mall in Congressional Avenue, Quezon City, officially opened its door to the public in July of 2002. To date, Mocha Blends operates thirty one outlets (31) with six more under construction.

The concept of Mocha Blends is to serve excellent espresso coffee and espresso-based concoctions through a semi-fine dining service environment. Outlets are designed in a young yet sophisticated fashion, a stylish ambience yet relaxed, creating an atmoshphere of both excitement and a sanctuary. To compliment its coffee are fruit-based drinks, and a wide array of food such as Pasta, Rice Savories, Filipino inspired Breakfast, Australian Fusion Pies, Pastries and Cakes.

Mocha Blends has positioned itself to cater to the A and B classes, though we are pleasantly surprised to see a cross of all class brackets and age groups.

Mocha Blends uses only the best Arabica varieties from other countries and also of our very own Arabica. Our partner/supplier, Mocha Coffee of Australia who are master roasters and experts in their field, supplies Mocha Blends its imported roasted coffee beans. Though quite recently, Mocha Blends has started its own local roasting operation.

Management is headed by our President, Mr. Florante Dela Cruz, and is ably supported by other executives who have vast experiences in restaurant chain operations and other industry fields, including his son, Mr. Andrew Dela Cruz, who was trained in Australia.

Mocha Blends was officially incorporated in March 1993
