Its humble beginnings started in 1994 in Davao City with a three-bed clinic (Two for Facial and one for massage) offering skin care and slimming services. The founder aimed high and dreamed big-that Bioessence become well known and be one of the leaders in the beauty, health and fitness industry.

The encouraging response of the market to the beauty and vanity coupled with the owner’s commitment and dedication to make her dream a reality prompted her to open branch one after the other. In 1998, Bioessence have reproduced six (6) branches in strategic locations namely: SM Bacoor, Binondo, and Sta. Lucia Mall in Cainta, SM Fairview, SM Mega Mall and Las Pinas.

Soon after, subsidiary companies were established; Facial Haus in 1999 and FacialPlus in 2000.

Bioessence opened its door to Franchising Business: November 2002 the San Fernando, Pampanga, franchise and followed by Zamboanga in February 2001. Facialhaus launched its first franchise in June 2002 at Angeles Pampanga, while FacialPlus started in 2001 at Naga City and Legaspi City.

With the dawn of Spa and increasing demand for relaxation in the midst of stressful environment and activities. Bioessence continued to upgrade its line of services. Thus becoming more innovative, it has developed and evolved new treatments addressing the growth needs of its market. Hence, Bioessence-Serenity Spa was born in October 28, 2002 at Shopsville, Greenhills Shopping Center, and San Juan.

Today, Bioessence is working tirelessly to become the leader in the beauty industry promoting fitness and beauty for a healthy and better lifestyle.
